Going from Christmas dinner to a sold out Pink Martini concert isn’t something you can do just anywhere … especially in October! Tonight was something special and very, VERY fun. It started out with the ridiculously short ride from my condo to Element Kuala Lumpur by Westin Hotel for a preview of the chefs’ new Christmas and New Year menu and festive cocktails at TRACE Restaurant & Bar. It was dee-lish and left me fat and happy, with turkey, stuffing, yummy roast veg, octopus … and of course a decadent and gooey yule log. From there, I travelled one whole block down the the Dewan Philharmonic inside Petronas Twin Towers for drinks and a show with a lively group of local and expat friends. Our friend Sean Ghasi from Tarakucha (be sure to follow their Facebook page for show updates!) was performing with Pink Martini and that made it extra special.

Come along on a fun evening of culinary, libation, and musical delights that ended with a final night cap at Mandarin Oriental hotel next to the twin towers.
