Malaysia is home to some of Asia’s most wonderful street and hawker food and Penang is the undisputed king when it comes to showcasing its bounty (at least in my opinion!). I’m in George Town at least every six to eight weeks and I always find time to spend an evening (or at least a very long meal) at Red Garden Food Paradise located next to The Edison and The Blue Mansion heritage hotels (reviews and videos for both are on my YouTube channel and my blog LuxuryBucketList.com). This is the most fun hawker stall street food pavilion that I’ve ever come across in all my travels. There’s nightly live entertainment that’s so much fun to watch, including a periodic Thai Lady Boy show that’s hilarious. Red Garden is so popular that unless you arrive early you may not be able to sit right around the stage so take my advance and get there between 7 – 8pm for a fab seat.

Be sure to visit the Red Garden Facebook page and give them a like, it’s a MUST for anyone visiting Penang, located right in the heart of George Town.
